Sky is a staple of TV entertainment in many households across the UK, but they offer far more than just cable. They also have their very own bingo platform. Sky raised the bar for home entertainment standards. Let’s see if their bingo offering lives up to expectations. Learn more about top bingo sites here.

About Sky Bingo

Sky Bingo comes from one of the UK’s most well-known and trusted entertainment companies, so there’s no doubt that their bingo service should offer the same high quality. The website has been around for a while, but was revamped last year and now uses HTML5 Playtech technology to support their games, and is much easier to use.

Games and Mobile

Sky has a huge range of bingo games. Here are the main types that you can play:

  • 36 ball bingo
  • 40 ball bingo
  • 50 ball bingo
  • 75 ball bingo
  • 80 ball bingo
  • 90 ball bingo

As you’d expect, there’s a variety of different individual games. Here are just some of them:

  • Mystical Bingo
  • Tipping Point Bingo
  • Rainbow Riches Bingo
  • Bouncy Balls Bingo
  • Lucky Numbers Bingo
  • Deal or No Deal Bingo
  • Sky Pennies
  • Sky Speed
  • Cash Cubes bingo

Mystical Bingo is a 50 ball game with a magical woodland theme. Tickets cost between 25p and £2 to play. You can play Bouncy Balls for as low as 1p, but the amount you can win depends on your stake. Tipping Point Bingo is based on the TV show with a progressive community jackpot which can be split between the winner and everyone who plays the winning game.

Non-Bingo Offerings

Sky’s range of games outside bingo doesn’t disappoint. There are over 100 games to choose from, including slots, scratchcards and casino games. At bingomummy, we love to review sites that go the extra mile to provide customers everything they’ve ever wanted.

When you select a game from the menu, you can see the impressive payouts that are available to win from each one, with the highest ones ranging from £25,000 to almost £1 million. In keeping with Sky’s TV roots, there are television-themed games like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Big Brother, X Factor and Deal or No Deal. There are also gaming favourites like Clover Rollover, Cleopatra’s Chest and Lucky Ladies. Something for everyone!

If casino games are your thing, you can play blackjack on the Sky Bingo site. However, Sky has a few other websites dedicated to such games, which you’ll love. There’s Sky Casino, Sky Poker and Sky Vegas, which has over 130 games alone, to satisfy all your gaming needs. With Sky, there’s a whole world of options.

Sports Betting

You can’t place bets on sporting events through the Sky Bingo site, but Sky does offer its own sports betting site, Sky Bet. You can bet on everything from horseracing to boxing, all from your mobile device. You just have to create an account and register your credit card, debit card or e-wallet and then you can get started.

The Mobile Experience

Sky Bingo’s website is fully optimised for mobile devices, so if you don’t want to sit at a computer or would rather play while you’re out and about, you can. The layout of the desktop and mobile sites are very similar, so there’s no confusion when switching between devices. Play on your mobile, tablet or desktop computer and experience the same sleek, fast-loading site.

As well as a great mobile site, Sky Bingo has its own app. Download the Sky Bingo App from your app store to play on iOS and Android with ease. Unfortunately, there is currently no app available on Google Play for Sky Bingo.

Bonuses and Promotions

Sky Bingo has a range of promotions and bonuses which change regularly to offer you new and exciting deals all the time. Here’s what you can currently play for:

Sky Bingo New Customers Welcome Package

Sky Bingo’s welcome package is a great one. When you sign up and deposit £10, you’re given a total of £60 to play with. That’s £50 just for signing up! This is definitely one of the best welcome bonuses on the market right now. You’d be hard-pressed to find a bingo site to match that, let alone better it.

Other Promos and Specials

New customers can claim a nice big bonus when they first start, but that doesn’t mean that Sky neglects their existing customers. There are lots of promotions for you to take advantage of as you keep playing. Here’s what’s on offer right now:

  • Free Tipping Point Bingo – From 8pm-9pm every day, you can play Tipping Point for free, where there’s a £1,000 jackpot to win.

Play any time that weekend and you could win a piece of that huge jackpot. Ticket prices cost between 1p and 50p. There’s a maximum of 120 players per game, so get in fast.

Transacting Business

Sky Bingo accept payments from all major credit cards, but if you don’t want to use a card, you can make transactions via PayPal. Many other bingo sites accept other payment methods like Skrill and Neteller, and it would be nice if Sky Bingo opened up to those options as well.

  • Visa Credit
  • Visa Electron
  • Visa Debit
  • Maestro
  • PayPal
  • Solo
  • Mastercard

Customer Service

Sky Bingo provide a number of ways to get in touch with them if you need help or support. Their website has an FAQ page, but if you’d rather speak to someone, you can talk to them via the live chat or send them an email. If you want to contact them via phone, their contact number is 0330 024 4777. The lines are open from 8am-midnight.

What I Like

It’s great that Sky Bingo change their promotions every month, so there’s always something to look out for. If you sign up for their mailing list, you’ll be kept up to date with them via email, so you’ll never miss an opportunity. The best thing about Sky is the trusted brand name, which allows customers to play with confidence. People are often wary to use their credit cards online, especially when it comes to playing games, and it’s good to have a company you can trust. If you ever have any issues, you know that their customer support team is always there to help. The welcome bonus is great, too. That’s certainly a big draw to the site.

Things I Don’t Like So Much

With Sky being a household name, it’s no surprise that it’s one of the most popular platforms for online bingo. While this comes with lots of benefits, it’s not without its downsides. The fact that it’s so popular means the rooms can be very busy, and more players means it’s more difficult to win those jackpots. I’d prefer if they added some more payment methods, too. Lots of people are moving away from using credit or debit cards online and more towards internet transfer companies, and it would be good for Sky Bingo to adapt to that.

The Verdict

Sky Bingo is a trustworthy site that has all the entertainment value that you’d expect from this cable TV giant. There’s a huge range of games to play and ever-changing promotions and deals to keep you playing every month. With so much to keep you entertained, you can switch your TV for your phone or tablet and play to your heart’s content on Sky Bingo’s mobile site. You could also try Robin Hood Bingo site as an alternative option.
