Are you a bingo newbie? This little birdie-themed bingo site could be the one for you. Bingo balls have been replaced with eggs on this site, where there’s a wide range of games to play and jackpots to be won. Let’s see if Newbies is all it’s cracked up to be in this Bingo Review.

About Newbies Bingo

Newbies bingo launched in 2016, so is a relatively new site. They describe themselves as being ‘just hatched’ on their site which has cute cartoon images of birds and eggs featured throughout. However, they’ve already proven to be a reputable bingo provider, having earned validation from Trust Wave’s Trusted Commerce Program and registration with the Gambling Commission.

They were founded on the Isle of Man by Cozy Games, and are powered by Live Bingo Network.

Games and Mobile

Newbies offers a range of bingo game types:

  • 30 ball bingo
  • 50 ball bingo
  • 75 ball bingo
  • 80 ball bingo
  • 90 ball bingo

That’s not all. There are lots of different individual games to choose from, too. Here are some of the titles they have:

  • Big Ben
  • Buckingham Palace
  • City Hall
  • Mega Jackpot
  • Victoria 90
  • Super Jackpot
  • Downtown
  • Night Owls
  • Free Bingo

Free Bingo is a 50 ball game, in which you could win a jackpot as high as £100. City Hall costs only 3p to play and has 30 balls. Buckingham Palace is Newbies Bingo’s 75 ball game, with a jackpot of £600. Downtown and Super Jackpot are both 80 ball games, and Mega Jackpot, Victoria 90 and Night Owls are the 90 ball games.  For most games, tickets are between 1p and 10p, with the exception of Super Jackpot and Mega Jackpot, which cost 50p and £1 to play respectively. Non-Bingo Offerings

If just bingo isn’t enough to keep you busy, don’t worry. Newbies Bingo also has a range of slots, scratchcards and casino games.

Slot games include Shaman’s Luck, Aztec, Fish Toons, Arabian Nights, Tutti Frutti, and others which add up to more than 40 games in total.

Amongst Newbies’ range of casino games, there are four types of roulette and three types of blackjack, so whichever style you prefer to play, you’re bound to be satisfied.

Sports Betting

Newbies Bingo does not offer a sports betting service, as it’s a site solely for gaming. If you’re looking to place bets on sports as well as play bingo, you’ll have to use another site.

The Mobile Experience

If you prefer to play bingo on a mobile device, there’s good news. Newbies Bingo is available to play on iPhone, iPad, Android, Nokia and more. The mobile site is easy to find your way around, with choices of bingo, slots and casino games along the top. Once you’ve selected the type of game you want to play, just scroll down to choose the one you like.

Apps

Unfortunately, there is no Newbies Bingo mobile app currently available. However, you can play on your phone using the mobile site without having to download anything.

Bonuses and Promotions

The Newbies site offers lots of different bonuses and promotions, so there is always a chance to win. Here’s an overview of what they have to offer.

Newbies Bingo New Customers Welcome Package

As the name would suggest, Newbies Bingo loves new players, and offers them a deal to get them started. When you first register and deposit £10, you’ll be given a 500% bonus on that deposit plus a £15 sign up bonus, which means you’ll have a total of £75. What a great deal!

Your first deposit can be anywhere between £5 and £500. The higher it is, the bigger your bonus. There are some limits on how you can spend it, though. Wagering requirements are 4 x bingo and 10 x slots.

Other Promos and Specials

Newbies isn’t just for new customers. They’ve got promotions for everyone. Here’s what you can get as an existing customer:

  • Casino Cash Reward – If you deposit at least £25 per week, you’re eligible for some casino cash rewards. You get a 5% bonus on any deposits between £25 and £49, 10% on £50-£99, 15% on £100-£199, and 20% on £200 or more.
  • Jackpot Fiesta – On Mondays at 5pm, there’s a £500 mega jackpot up for grabs. At the same time on the 1st of every month, there’s a super jackpot of £1,000. All you have to do to be eligible is make a deposit of £10 or more, and you’ll automatically receive free tickets to the game.
  • Newbie Bonus Boons – As well as the 500% bonus on your first deposit, you’ll get 350% on your second deposit, and 300% on your third deposit. The bonuses just keep coming!
  • Refer a Friend – When you refer a friend to join Newbie Bingo and they make their first £10 deposit, you’ll receive £5 casino cash and 250 bingo cards for free.
  • Loyalty Rewards – As you play Newbie Bingo, you collect loyalty points, which can bring you extra bonuses and prizes. The more points you have, the higher your level is. Up to 1,000 points gets you Silver, while 1,001 – 2,500 sees you promoted to Gold. 2,501 to 5,000 points gives you VIP membership, and if you have any more than that, you’ll reach the highest level, SVIP.

As well as these promotions, there are extra ones to be found. Stay active in the Newbie bingo chat rooms and you’ll see quizzes and competitions to take part in. There’s also exciting things happening on their Facebook page, so stay connected with them on social media to keep up to date with the latest offers. Just liking and following them on Facebook will earn you 50 free bingo tickets! Newbies Bingo’s website also has a blog, which is regularly updated with new posts. You’re likely to find new promotions there, too.

Newbies Bingo accepts payment by major credit cards as well as internet transfer services like Skrill and PayPal. They also use BOKU, which allows you to pay via your mobile. For all payment methods, the minimum deposit is £10. All transactions made by credit and debit cards are made through Lateral Payment Solutions and will show up on your bill as AquaPay London.

Customer Service

It’s important for a bingo site to have a good customer support team to help if you have any issues with making deposits and withdrawals or anything else while playing. Thankfully, Newbies bingo has one. You can contact them using their contact number, 0206 608 1305. The lines are open 24/7, so you can call any time of day or night. There’s also a contact form on the site, which you can fill out to send an email, and a live chat feature which always has someone online to help.

What I Like

Newbies Bingo has a wider variety of bingo games than many other sites. Some sites simply offer 75 or 90 ball bingo, but Newbies lets you play with 30, 50, 75, 80 or 90 balls. With so much variation, you’re unlikely to ever get bored. Their welcome package is good, and I also like that they offer bonuses for referring friends. This means that if you want to get your friends or family in on the action, you’ll be rewarded for it. With the chat rooms and community vibe on the site, you’re likely to make new friends as you play, too.

Newbies Bingo accept a range of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, internet transfer and mobile billing, so customers can make deposits and withdrawals however they like. It’s great that they give their players freedom of choice in this way.

Things I Don’t Like So Much

Since Newbies Bingo only appeared on the market last year, some bingo players might not feel too confident in using their site and would rather use one that has more of a reputation. However, there is no indication that they aren’t a trustworthy company. It would be good if they made an app available, as the mobile site is a little slow to load at times. The only other issue is that some of the wagering requirements are a little on the high side.

The Verdict

Newbies Bingo is new to the game, having only been in business since 2016. However, there’s lots of good reasons to join. They offer a great service with lots of different types of bingo, promotions and a loyalty program. Their range of bingo games should be enough to keep anyone busy, and with their decent welcome bonus as a reward for signing up, you might as well give it a try, whether you’re a newbie or not. Find more bingo reviews like this one on Heart Bingo here.
